Sketch #57 12x12

Do you ever have oversized photos from vacations, landscapes, or family group photos? I have alot of them so I made a sketch that just showcases those large photos with not too much embellishment. Of course it leaves room for you to embellish as much or as little as you like.

For my example I used a photo that is 5 x 8 1/2". For close ups and details, visit my blog HERE

Now for a completely different take on this sketch, look at this adorable page by Geri. This is a perfect example of why its good to use a large photo sometimes. Photos like this are priceless. Visit Geri's blog HERE

This is just a fantastic boy page by Joni Parker. I love the whole look of the page. I just want to take her page and put a photo of my son in it! lol Visit Joni's blog here for lots more inspiration

Sketch #56 12x12

For my example I used papers and embellishments by SEI. This is a layout that was in Scrapbook Trends last year so I had pulled it from my blog so I don't have a link for close ups. I just love these photos of tiny little Savvy. When he helps me now its not nearly as cute or productive.

My good friend, Heidi, just sent this layout to me last night and it's just so fantastic! I love the flurry at the bottom of the page and the sparklies with the jewels and snow. Thanks Heidi! Click HERE to go see the close ups and details on Heidi's Blog.

Here's Laurie's version of the sketch. I like that she used 3 photos and her little tickets in the corner are just too cute. Visit Laurie's blog HERE

Look at this fantastic page by Susan. I just love the way she colored her title letters to match! Check out Susan's blog HERE

And here's another great page from Merrick. I really like the papers she chose for her photos. Visit Merrick's blog here for more layout inspiration

Here is a super fun two pager that Tami made by stretching this sketch. Notice the ribbon goes all the way across under the photos to sort of tie it together. Visit Tami's blog here for more details.
