Sketch #122

And here is my example using some older BasicGrey Basics and Lauderdale. Are you guys using up your stash?

Sketch #121

For my example I moved the photo a little but followed the sketch pretty closely. Since it's National Scrapbook weekend, I am trying to dig deep and use up my stash. These papers are mostly MME, but the background paper and burlap are from DCWV.

Sketch #120

Use that Panoramic feature on your camera, or crop a photo to create a long photo. You can even put two 4 x 5.5" photos together if you like.

Nancy Burke created an example for us today and she turned the sketch on its side for a dramatic page. I cant even believe that she hand cut the Matterhorn and made all these flags, but it's fantastic!

Sketch # 119

Happy National Scrapbook Day - Weekend! I am a bit behind here but I have 4 sketches with examples for you guys! A couple of guest designers have created examples for us and I think you guy's will be very inspired! I know I am.  I created two large photo sketches because we really haven't done that much at Sketch Savvy but I know you guys have some photos that you want to really show off.

First, Laurie Zeller created this example for you using Basic Grey Lauderdale and a stunning photo of World of Color at Disney's California Adventure. Isn't it cool?! Visit Laurie's Blog HERE

Now for a different take on the same sketch, Nancy Burke created this gorgeous layout. The one thing I really love about the sketch is the fact that you can have a giant photo and still showcase close up shots or people, like Nancy did here. And isn't the gold a perfect accent.
